Martinborough Village Camping Newsletter – 7th Feb 2011
Dear Guest,
Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us this summer, we’ve been busier than ever and hope you all enjoyed a break with us this year. There is still lots going on in the Wairarapa and we’ve picked out a few highlights below.
Self-Contained Unit
Keep an eye out for an opening announcement in your mail box, we’ll let our mailing list know first when this new unit is available to book.
Events
It has been another busy event season in Martinborough and there are still some big weekends to come:
More FM Winery Tour (Sunday 13th February) with Brooke Fraser, OpShop and Midnight Youth. We still have some sites available and have received a cabin cancellation. Remember the rates include bus transfers to and from the concert – but only if you book by 5pm on Thursday 10 Feb. As it’s a Sunday concert there is no minimum stay requirement on sites, although rates are lower if you stay more than one night. Click to BOOK NOW.
A Day on the Green - Crowded House (Saturday 19th February) has been fully booked for months now, but we have recently received a cabin cancellation, there is a 2 night minimum stay and the rate includes bus transfers to and from the concert.
Click to BOOK NOW, if it says ‘unavailable’ on the booking screen, sorry but someone beat you to it.
We are receiving site cancellations from time to time so if you would like to be on the waiting list e-mail reservations@martinboroughcamping.com with your name, number of people and accommodation type and we will let you know if anything comes up.
Martinborough Fair (Saturday 5th March) we have a small number of tent sites left so we recommend you book soon if you would like to stay. Click to BOOK NOW.
If you’re looking for an excuse to visit the Wairarapa over the next couple of months there is plenty going on, with the Golden Shears, Hot Air Balloons, Wairarapa Wines Festival, Sculpture in the Country and Easter, all before the end of April. Click for more information.
Breast Cancer Cure Research Trust
We have joined the holiday parks challenge to raise $300,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Trust. We are one of 300 parks each trying to raise at least $1,000 by the end of June this year. We have reached $835 and if you would like to help us towards our target you can make a donation here.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all again in Martinborough this summer.
