Blue Creek Glow Worm Caves
A rare opportunity to visit these caves on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th March as they open to the public as a fundraiser for Martinborough School and the Ruakokapatuna Hall.
Golden Shears
The World's premier Shearing and Wool handling Championships takes place in Masterton during the first weekend in March.
Sculpture in the Country 2011
Saturday 12th to Sunday 13th March, 10am to 4.30pm. The third biennial Sculpture in the Country event comes to Gladstone Vineyard - an exhibition and sale of sculptures by leading New Zealand artists, with all art works for sale. Buy tickets at the gate on the day.
Wairarapa Wines Harvest Festival
Saturday 19th March 2011, 11am to 5pm. Showcasing sensational wines and food from throughout the Wairarapa region, this relatively new event already has a loyal following. Click here to find out about bus transport from Martinborough to the festival.
Trust House Balloons over Wairarapa
Friday 18th to Sunday 20th March. Balloons from around New Zealand take part in this three day balloon extravaganza.
Round the Vines

French Country Fair
2nd & 3rd April, French style market and entertainment at Tauherenikau Racecourse.
Easter
